Eco Strange Loop Games - tips and tricks for cooperation

  I do love to play  the game Eco by  Strange Loop Games   and join a team. Everyone should experience the sense of security, usefullness and comaraderie of a team. This is great...really...but why are the other players leaving ?

In Eco by  Strange Loop Games , players can make their own world (or server) and welcome other players to share their dream. The value of a an Eco world comes from the number and quality of players who contribute to this dream. There are, however, common mistakes and mishaps from administrators that can easily turn happy citizens to deserters.

Eco by  Strange Loop Games  is sometimes pictured with a nice city town hall, white bridge and other community features. I did my fare share of random servers and let's just say player-made town centers rarely look like this, if there are any. In fact, the absence of town centers is odd considering their advantages for a community: I blame minecraft :)

So you already played Eco ? Nice. How about another try ? But this time you do it with these essential and basic principles in mind.

I begin in a new world of Eco by  Strange Loop Games . The tutorial told me how to jump, move, get food etc. Okay I got a workbench and a tool bench. A fire is burning to provide with perfectly charred survival food. What now? What should I do first? 

I observed several players of the game Eco using words such as communism or capitalism. On my very first experience with this odd terminology, I witnessed denunciation of a "communist" player because he started a craft on the table of another player for free... But what really happened here is a matter of resource access, not political theories.
